The existing PHEAL building houses specialized lab spaces including areas for researching epidemiology, microbiology, environmental chemistry and analytical labs to support public health surveillance, monitoring and screening. This addition to the New Jersey Public Health Environmental and Agricultural Laboratories consists of a new administration wing and entrance as well as a warehouse expansion and six story laboratory addition seamlessly blending into and respecting the existing context while remaining impactful in its own right.
